What geographical area do you cover?
We primarily cover the Northern NJ area, but also can easily extend into the tri-state NJ-NY-CT area and even beyond! Additional costs may be involved depending on the location of the service. Of course, virtually led sessions do not involve extra travel costs!
Are your services delivered in person, hybrid, or virtual?
All Insights related services at the individual or team level are usually delivered virtually using Microsoft Teams or Zoom, if the package selected is only Insights related services. If a 1/2 day or full day package is selected that includes teambuilding, those services would be delivered fully in person. While we recognize that some team members may only be able to participate remotely for 1/2 day or full day team events, we strongly encourage in person attendance to increase the feeling of inclusivity and engagement. Otherwise, we recommend fully virtual sessions (instead of hybrid delivery which can result in inconsistent experience amongst the participants).
How far in advance should I book Made for Excellence for my event?
Most of our inquiries are made at least 2-3 months before the event; sometimes even before the final date is locked in by our customer (e.g., the inquiry occurs while a venue is being secured and the agenda is being formed). Because of the popularity of our fun teambuilding activities, and the use of Insights in preparation for strategy and goals in the new year, our December / January season usually get booked 4-6 months in advance.
What is the minimum and maximum number of people you require to book your services?
If you are an individual looking to complete Insights for yourself (outside of an organization), you will join an Insights Discovery debrief session with others like you, so there is no minimum per se in this case. For an organization, we offer our 1/2 day and full day packages to a minimum of 10 team members. We don’t cap at a maximum number of team members, but do require at least 3 months advance notice of any large groups greater than 100.
What form of payment do you accept, and what are your payment terms?
We accept payment in the form of cash, check, Zelle, and Venmo. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required for each contract to hold a date/timeframe, due upon contract signing. The remaining balance is due at the completion of the event.
Gratuity is not included in our contracts but humbly welcomed if you thought our staff did a great job with your team! Gratuity in the form of cash (or cash app) is the best method.

Where is your list of teambuilding activities so I can figure out if I want to hire Made for Excellence?
Made for Excellence offers a series of professionally facilitated proprietary teambuilding activities. If we reveal too many details of our activities, those extremely competitive team members may walk into the challenges with more intel than the other team members. We like to keep the details of our activities “close to the vest” to make the competition fair for all those involved! Do your teambuilding activities include things like escape rooms, trust falls, ropes courses or cooking classes?
No, we do not. We are more focused on custom delivery of unique team challenges to help teams learn more about each other and walk away with a better sense of how to work better as a team after the session.
Do you provide a space for your services if I hire you for a 1/2 day or full day package?
Most of our clients have access to a space to use for delivery of in-person services (typically, a large conference room or space that has movable furniture). However, if you are in need of space, we can help you identify potential spaces for rent.
Do you offer teambuilding services for outdoor events?
Our main teambuilding activities are best delivered in an indoor space where logistics are more controllable. However, we are happy to custom curate activities for an outdoor event. A “Plan B” must always be arranged for outdoor events.
What happens if our session suddenly has to get rescheduled?
The 25% initial deposit is non-refundable, but can be applied to a rescheduled date, if booked within three months of the original date.

If you complete our Consultation form, we store the personal information you provide in the form for seven years, after which the data is purged and permanently deleted.

If you have submitted information through a Consultation form, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
